I can't put my arms down!

John wanted to take Emme out for a walk with the dogs this morning. Being the overprotective mother, I suggested she put on her winter outfit. I thought it was freezing, but John said he could have gone out in shorts because it felt so great. I don't know about that, but she sure looked cute!

Play time

Emme is starting to enjoy a little, and I do mean little play time. Early in the morning, and occasionally in the afternoon, she seems alert, kicking and stretching, and eager to take in her surroundings. These are my favorite times of the day. It is so cool to see her taking it all in.

4 Weeks Old, A Day at the Park

For Emme's birthday, she requested we go to the park. John and I took her to the park near Regan's house for lunch and to just enjoy the pretty weather while it lasts. Happy birthday Emme!

Getting out of the house

After two weeks of being cooped up in the house, we just had to get out! After our two week visit at the pediatrician, we had a nice lunch with Erin, Max, Maddie, and Vicki and then went to the Arboretum for a nice breath of fresh air. Later last week Elley and Lane came for a visit and we went to the zoo and the arboretum. What nice weather we are having so far this November! Loving our stroller too. It is super nice!

Cousin Maddie meeting Emme for the first time. She thought she was a little baby doll, and was puzzled when she began to cry. So cute!
Dallas Arboretum pumpkin patch. Next year we will be able to get out and maybe even walk around! This year, getting out of the car seat is more than what it is worth. Emme doesn't like it!

Penguin house was a cool place for a nap. We thought we might just stay there all day.
